In response to the needs of children of Lebanese expatriates, the Foreign Program—based on the American educational system—was established as part of the educational structure at the Omar Al-Mukhtar Educational Center. This program includes academic grades from Grade 7 through Grade 12 and operates in accordance with the requirements of the American curriculum.
Students enrolled in this program hold foreign nationalities but are of Lebanese origin. They came from a wide range of countries such as Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Canada, the United States, Cyprus, Germany, France, Sweden, and Spain. This diverse mix formed a unique “school-based United Nations,” fostering cross-cultural understanding and enriching students with valuable knowledge about the societies from which they came.
