About Us

 The will of evil had ravaged Lebanon, and the country was moving towards the unknown, and it was necessary to confront this with the will of good, by working on building the human being, so the foundation stone for the Omar Al-Mokhtar Educational Centre project was laid in 1979, and teaching began on 10/1/ 1984. The conviction was, and still is, firm that education is the pillar of human development, and that is why there was insistence on moving forward in this field, adopting the slogan: From nursery school to university, and spreading science and knowledge to the largest possible area of the country in various fields of education, and for this reason projects multiplied and multiplied.

Institutions and construction continued, within the framework of a comprehensive vision of life and society. The goal was not for this school to be as it is added to what is existing, but rather the goal was a qualitative addition, and it was distinguished by possible quality standards, in terms of infrastructure related to buildings, laboratories, libraries, classrooms, technical workshops, playgrounds, gardens, and the spaciousness of the place with all the data, in addition to the capable teaching staff. With the perfection of its work, and the high qualifications of its members, in addition to the administrative affairs that control the rhythm of work, and provide it with all the requirements for success.

It is based on the existence of an empowered teacher who enjoys full professional, financial and moral support to achieve practical and collaborative education, projects, subjects and individual work that engages and activates students and supports their academic ambition. A teacher who should enter the classroom with the highest expectations, keep pace with the time to integrate technology into education, and help each learner develop his own potential and learning methods.

Connecting the content to real life helps to ensure a safe school community in which learners are free to express their own ideas to activate positive discipline strategies and problem-solving skills, and develop skills that help learners achieve their highest potential mentally, physically, socially, morally and emotionally, with the possibility of discovering the basic skills of each learner in the school course in addition to enhancing motor skills, personal and social development as well.
